Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank Recruitment 2011 for Clerks

Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank [ BKGB ] was setup on 12th September 2005. It is a result of amalgamation of Monghyr Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Begusarai Kshetriya Gramin Bank and Bhagalpur-Banka Kshetriya Gramin Bank. Its head office is at Munger. It has 120 branches which are located at different districts of Bihar. These are Banka, Bhagalpur, Jamui, Munger, Lakhisarai, Begusarai, Sheikhpura and Khagaria. It is fully sponsored and managed by UCO Bank and Government of India.

Applications are invited by Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank for the recruitment of various positions of clerks/ office assistants under the pay scale of Rs. 7200-19300/-. Indian Nationals with the required qualifications and domicile of Bihar can only apply. Interested and eligible candidates can apply between 1st November 2011 to 30th November 2011. Mode of application is online only. Applications through any other mode will not be accepted. Vacancy is for a probation period of 1 year.

Total 112 posts are available for the position of Office Assistants [ Multipurpose ]/ Clerk. Out of this, 63 posts are for general, 18 for SC, 1 for ST and rest 30 posts are for OBC candidates. Selected candidates will get starting emolument of Rs. 12880/- per month. For this post, candidates should be at least graduate and should be proficient in Hindi language. Knowledge of computers is desirable. candidates age should be between 18 – 28 years as on 1st October 2011.

Candidates has to appear in a written exam and after that has to attend an interview. Written test will be on 15th January 2012. It will be of objective type for the duration of 2.30 hours. 200 question for 200 marks will be asked from the subjects of reasoning, numerical ability, general knowledge,  general English and general Hindi. Centre of examination will be Patna, Bhagalpur and Munger.
